You will likely want to hang onto it.

For your scope, take a look at Redfield.
Some are built in Beaverton, Ore. at the Leupold plant.
I believe that they are all backed by Leupold.
These could be the best bang-for-buck in a rifle scope.

Lots of good choices for rings, Burris are nice for the price.
