Steve (RT),

Hey, haven't you ever seen a fish so happy on the end of your line? I tried the eek smiley, but that obviously didn't work. Just thought I'd try to come up with something at least a little original.

You'd still do fine on the North, there's a few other good producers, but most locals prefer the Green Butt as they're all around fly. Personally, I haven't even flyfished the North for salmon or steelies, I'd like to learn to catch them with bait and spinners and spoons first before tackling them with a fly. However, I do love flyfishing for trout when I get a chance, I also tie my own flys. I taught myself and I'm getting pretty good at it. I can't wait to post my first catch!!! Yep I'm still a "virgin," however this web site has been an invaluable source of info for the begginner, it took me four days cruising this site before I even got to the Links page. Excellent page Bob, impresive.
