I would go with regular height in sizes: 30,20,16,10,8,7,7,6 and a hook keeper. Not a big fan of the high guides except with ultra light lines. The higher the guide profile the easier it is to damage them. I do like the single foot spinning guides since it lightens the wraps hence the weight on the rod. The smaller guides on the front of the rod will keep the tip sensitive.
Since your on a budget, I will make you a offer..... I have a rod account set up with Pac Bay(not Fuji) and am getting ready to place a order. I can get you handles, guides and reel seats at My cost + tax and shipping.
Handle- front and rear cork, cushioned graphite reelseat, butt cap and hook keeper. $15.34 includes tax
Guides set -Silicon Carbine rings Black color one foot $27.85....expensive but top of the line
Alternative guide set- Aluminum Oxide rings black color one foot $4.72 includes tax
Will also need to order a tip to match figure under $2 each.
Let me know fast since I plan on placing the order on Friday (ordering 4 weight flyrods for ultra light spinning blanks) and won't be ordering for awhile.
Tight lines
