Norway is a closed society so socialism works there. The US is an open society so socialism will only increase our debt as more emigrants take without paying into the system.
Also in Norway they hold their elective officials accountable while in the US we just keep reelecting the clowns no matter how incompetent they are handling the taxpayers money. For instance in Norway every elected official that had anything to do with Bertha would have been run out of office by now but noooo in Seattle, or at the federal level, we only care is they have a d or an r next to their name and don't give a crap how corrupt or incompetent they are.
And lastly in Norway if you are kicked out of office for wasting tax payer money you will not find another job but in the US you get a high paying job in the private sector. The more you screwed the tax payer the higher your wage.
