It depends on how you plan to fish. Bank/Boat? Plunk/Drift? If you don't have a boat or private property access you better get there early and plan to post up in one of the few holes there are. Standard drift gear like corkie and yarn is pretty popular. I don't enjoy plunking myself but I see a number of people tossing big spin n glows with eggs hooked to a sinker the size of a bowling ball. It seems to be a pretty effective method. If you can round up a boat it is pretty much deck to deck but you can cover a lot of water. Pulling plugs can work as well as drifting eggs. I have seen people backtrolling herring but never tried it or asked how it works. A lot will depend on what the water is doing. I haven't seen the Icicle since last Saturday, but I pass the Wenatchee every day and it has really started to move some water. Good luck.
