Pink,

Right now, the rivers south of you (Cowlitz, Kalama etc) will have summer steelhead and a smattering of spring kings. From your location, I'd also consider the Wynoochee, although the number of smolts that they released that would be returning this year was WAY down, so there might not be very good numbers of fish there.

For fall kings, look at the Chehalis, Nooch, and Satsop. All these are good for silvers, too. The lower Chehalis starts up in September (or whenever it opens) and the fish move up into the Nooch and Satsop according to the rain. In October, if we get a shot of rain, wait until the rivers start to drop and then BE THERE the next day. Try big Flatfish/Kwikfish (T-50, or K-15/16 sizes) for the Kings and the next size smaller plugs, or spinners for the silvers.

Do you know Chris from Poulsbo on this BB? If so, I said I'd show him the ropes on the Nooch and Satsop this fall, so maybe you could hook up with him?

Hope this helps some........

Fish on......
