Well, since the Steelies over in the Great Lakes are from the same strain of steelies over here, I'd say it would work. I've used the combo for awhile (except I've used sandshrimp tails instead of crawfish) and have had alot of success. Go for it, doesn't hurt to try, just hurts if you don't fish at all.....
