Heard from at tug boat cook I know that there were tons of "silvers" jumping off Jeff Head this week. I suspect these must be Lake Washington-bound sockeye. As this area opens this saturday, I thought I would give it a try for sockeye and C&R kings, since the south sound has been pretty slow for summer kings so far. Anyone know if sockeye can be effectively caught in the salt. I was told to fish a #2 red hook 24" behind a dodger, real slow, down 40 feet. Does this sound right? Thanks in advance for your help on this. Chip Goodhue
