It was a truly different time, and we can only try to imagine how his actions would be reacted to by any constituency now. However the the times are so different that it would be foolish to believe that Teddy himself would be the same man in this day and age, and that his actions would be the same now as they were then.

^^I also feel like that.^^ However when I vote, and I always do, I rarely have any trouble deciding which candidate to vote for, or which way to vote on initiatives, or proposed legislation so as to most likely advance my conservative position.
