It's a lot deeper than that to a lot of us, but if you're at all concerned with a liveable environment I would reconsider voting for Slade. I've always felt that voting for or against an individual made a lot more sense than voting for that individual's party affiliation. Slade Gorton has consistently legislated against those matters that affect me as a fisherman and as a person who is concerned with environmental issues. I don't suppose that it will have any great impact on your choice, but I can hardly imagine anyone who would be a worse choice to represent the people of Washington state, particularly the sportsmen, than Slade Gorton.
