So...last time Trump showed that he was a tremendous asshole who isn't fit to serve on the local library board.

The other candidates wrongly figured that Republican voters would see how ridiculous of a candidate that Trump is and would dismiss him...that was clearly giving GOP voters far, far too much credit.

Here's the question...do the other candidates try and talk about issues while Trump has diarrhea of the mouth again, or do they see if they can out-diarrhea him...a tactic that will likely appeal to the Republican base.

This crowd will be more of an establishment crowd, rather than the fruitcake crowd at the Fox News debate last time, so I doubt there will be as many wild cheers for whoever can sound the most stupid...so that will work against Trump.

I think that tonight's debate will be a microcosm of GOP politics over the past several years...they will all seek to see who can devolve the most to out-idiot Trump...the GOP base will be ecstatic, and the rest of the world will shake their heads and wonder if the GOP will ever be able to ever win the White House again.
