I would have left the dictator keeping things in line in power, and wouldn't have pretended he had something to do with the WTC attacks and built bases in Saudi Arabia, which provided both the opportunity and reason for ISIS being formed in the first place.
The easiest way to put out a fire is not to set the fuckin thing in the first place.
But that's when the whole "it's Bush's fault" bullsh!t begins, and guys like RvW spend the next post making apologies for the fuckin' idiot that jumpstarted ISIS in the first place.
There's no winning in the middle east - history shows it. But let's go there and we'll be the first in history to have it come out in our favor.
Or we won't.
Whichever.
That's weird you mentioned this. I was talking to my Dad on the phone today and I told him that these Islamic states seem to do just fine being led by a Dictator. In hindsight the invasion of Iraq made things even worse. Then of course Saudi Arabia get a pass once again. The Saudi's want to keep oil under 40 dollars a barrel in the future to stop us from fracking. I guess the answer is to bomb the crap at of ISIS when we can ascertain they are indeed ISIS members. Just like home land terrorist AKA "Lone Wolves" are nearly impossible to stop. There are no good concrete answers.
