Per history, this is par for the course in Turkey (about every 20 years give or take). The Turkish military has a constitutional mandate to remain secular and stage Coups whenever the sitting government starts to go hardline. Ergo has been attempting to slowly install an Islamic state via the Muslim Brotherhood. This Coup is a GREAT thing if the goal is to slow the spread of Islam, especially migrants into Europe. Turkey is based and a very good, modern country. Putin is smiling today and probably behind all of it. Greece is breathing a sigh of relief. Obama is sad because his Muslim Brotherhood is getting das' boot. Again. I would not doubt one bit that Nice was the last straw for the Turkish Secularists.

What has this world come to when Russia & Putin are more based than our own President? I feel like I am taking crazy pills!
