When I used to drift it, I would use a four wheel drive to put in on the hatchery side of the river. I don't know if you can still do that, but there is a take out just below the golf course hole on the right hand side, and just below that at the island ramp - also on the right hand side - that I used to use. Probably a 3 to 5 mile drift of really good water. If you want a longer drift, there's a take out below the bus hole (old bus half out of water on the right hand side), and just below the bridge in Woodland. Lots of good water, but a very long drift.
