If by "get away" you mean work your arse-off...then yes, I've been "getting away" for years now. I never take "real" vacations and I can't even recall the last one I had or where I even went. I take one or two days here and there to hunt or fish in the state. That's about it. My job won't allow for more than that.

If by "get away" you really mean "F it - I'm done forever"! Then I'm all about cashing in my chips and going off-grid into a nice cozy little cabin deep in the Alaskan bush. Hunting, fishing, trapping, tying flies and splitting wood. THAT would be my IDEAL simple kind of life and I would absolutely rock it. But alas and realistically, tis' not to be in this lifetime...
