It's been erratic and slower around Tillamook than it should be Ak. We did hook 5 and landed 3 Kings on the lower Wilson last week, but I think we got into a lucky pod of fish because it was slow elsewhere. As with most places it should pick up with the rains. Watch the river level graphs on the net for the Wilson R. there. After it comes up a few feet and drops to around 5' is when I do my favorite fishing; up the river in a nice current of pea green water. Driftfishng or back boucing eggs and bactrolling sardine filet wrapped Kwikfish will be producing those big hogs aplenty when it's right. And it should be within the timeframe you mentioned, unless we go into a dry fall. For honest fishing reports and good tips call the Tillamook Bait Co. at (503)842-5031. - RT
