So much for lot of people's 4th of July plans huh? One of busiest travel weekends of the year. Lost sales tax revenues anyone? Compounding the problem anyone?

Washington's' new travel slogan should be something like "Welcome to Washington, pay us money, now fcvk right on off".

At least we aren't Illinois (yet). They can't even run their own lottery and the Powerball peeps pulled out of the state completely. It's one thing to not be able to fish, hike or camp. It's entirely another thing when a state can't pay out a $1 - $1 million dollar lottery ticket. I'd officially go thermo-nuclear, guns of Navarone, superfly TNT if a state pulled a lottery IOU on me.

Then again, most shouldn't even be playing the lottery. It's a stupid tax disguised as hope. Or about the same as our fishing opportunities around here.
