Decided to bail on a South Texas deer hunt to head to Washington for a little Dawg fishing the first week of December on the Skagit. Gonna chase old 5-19 down the river for a couple of days. Plan on hooking up with Reiter Rat and the boys from Teds for a day of fishing around Seattle. You guys got me too whacked on these dawgs. I can shoot a nice racked rabbit anytime, why pass up the chummies.

I have never had to use a size 1/0 or 2/0 hook for fish. Only mammals. Will bring lots of anti-inflamatories, jigs, maxima 20 lb, and film (spare rods too). Will post after I recover from the trip. I hope they are big, ugly, and mean. I also heard their will be Dolly's around. I have wanted to have a picture with my hands on Dolly Parton (oops Varden) since I was a kid. Yikes, ain't it great. Now I gotta go through all of the old chummy posts to figure out what to bring.
