The Puyallup River has a wild run of chum that should be entering the river right about now. It apparently isn't forcasted to be a strong run this year though, as the Carbon River (an up river tributary of the Puyallup) regulations this season specify "release all chum." The reg book doesn't say anything about releasing them in the Puyallup though, so evidently they're up for grabs in the Puyallup, but I think I'd recommend catch and release on those toothy critters in the Puyallup system.

Good luck!
