Well, the warning sign at the ramp is there for a reason. Contrary to popular rumor, it was NOT put there by the guides, it was put there as a condition of opening up the ramp to the public in response to concern over liability arising from the guaranteed mishaps this river creates.

You'll need to be awfully good on the oars, and scout your paths ... places like "Sucker Rapids" didn't get named that for a reason.

Water level plays a big factor, 3 or 4 (or higher) boards above the wheel stop on the ramp, regulars in the river won't touch a rock. Below that, you just have to bounce off the right ones
