The bookies have it down cold and anything better than 60% lifetime win % is legendary. I.e. you ARE going lose lifetime on those sports unless you are exceptional.

Think about it. In the NFL and MLB, every single player and metric is hyper studied to the nth degree and they return as players year after year. The lines reflect that knowledge. Knowledge is king and unless it's literally your day job, you don't and won't have what it takes to consistently beat Vegas. EXCEPT for those magical two weeks when college ball rosters turn over with fresh faced 18 year old kids. It's over by week 3. Vegas knows by then.

It actually should be illegal to bet on these games until the first rankings come out in October. It's stupid easy, but I've never complained.
