Dan, twelve years ago, because of congestive heart failure, my father could not get off the couch to answer the door. The surgeon who replaced a heart valve and did three bypasses marveled that Dad had been able to walk into the hospital. The real miracle was what occurred in that operating room. Now, at age 82, he plays eighteen holes of golf weekly, drives himself all over town, and never misses a family get-together. Heart surgery is medical science at its best. Still, I don't think I ever prayed harder than when my father's life was in that surgeon's hands. I know you'll be doing the same for your son. My prayers for your family will be added to those of the other forum members.
