Edward, They slide down the leader the same as a bobber stop. That is you put your line through the wire loop and slide it onto the line the same as the little egg bobber stops. Once I got it on the leader, I moistened the line and it slid down easily. I again moistened the slender end (nipple) and inserted it into the soft bead and it seemed to hold really well. I just think the t-stop with the larger flat end will hold the bead better and not allow the bead to slide over it down to the hook. I always had trouble with the bead sliding over the sequin and bobber stop when the bead caught on the bottom when fishing. The bead would lots of times slide all the way down onto the shank of the hook. I haven't fished them yet. Only tried the t-stops at home. Hope this helps. Good fishing.
