Interesting that coastal rivers, both west side of vancouver island and our coast, aren't effected as much as "interior" rivers. Kinda makes me wonder if enclosed marine waters like the Sound aren't reacting the way the rivers that flow into them are--puking from too much of "us".
Anyone read the article in the PI last week about the herring at Cherry point? Seems the population is crashing-lots of them being born with mutations. To the point where they may not recover. We dump 9 million gallons of tainted water into the enviroment there every day.
Hate to sound like an enviro nazi but one thing is for freakin sure in all this, if we continue like we are, real bad [Bleeeeep!] is going to happen to our natural world.

Why do they still sell lawn fertilizer? C
