Hello all. First time poster, long time reader. This is my first full year salmon/steelheading the rivers of this great state, and this site/forum have been more than a great help. Thanks Bob, job well done.
My nine year old son is just as addicted as I am with this great sport, but the problem is I cant find any waders/hip boots in his size. I've tried all the sporting goods stores including Sportco. I looked through a few Cabelas catalogues also, still no luck.
Do they even make em that small?
Thanks for any and all help from a 30 year old rookie.
P.S. Ill be at the Nisqually tomorrow in hopes of finding one of those bright chum.

For a quick fix I would suggest running to Fred Meyers. I the one in Lacey/Olympia has youth sized hip waders for about $25. I just bought a pair for my ten year old. Just buy them a couple sizes too big (havem em wear extra socks) and he will get a couple years out of them. If you find small neoprenes, let me know.
