So did anyone get out this weekend?

Yeah, the weather must have stunk on Saturday.

I stayed home and worked on the house to keep peace in the family, besides fishing seems a little quiet lately. At least on the salt.

I went out on the Stillagomish(sp is wrong) and had my first bite but was not able to hook it. Was fun and got alot of practice wading in the water.

Went out Friday on the Upper Puyallup and Carbon. The Carbon was clearer than usual with the cold temperatures at the glacier and rain. It was at about a foot and a half to two foot visability . But all the fish in the Carbon at that time had gone up the creeks with the rain. The Puyallup on the other hand was down river and we found the silvers there. It also had a 1 1/2 visability. I hooked two and C&R one small one. We kept the only one my dad got to shore, around seven pounds but even though it was chrome, the meat was like a pink's, pale.

This may be a bit too far south for you, but hit the Kalama yesterday. The opening of hunting ( deer, elk? I don't know) season had most of the trucks and SUV's heading up to the hills. Two steelhead, both native, and one king that I couldn't stop.
Water is in great shape, still waiting for the silvers. Did spot a few cut throat.
