the Sniper Elite games were fun, Battlefield was fun until they made the last one, i dont really care for that one... really liked BF3 and 4..

never liked Halo..

i helped build the president of entertainments at Microsoft's house a long time ago, he led the team that made the Xbox and Zune and Windows devices and sh!t, i remember giving him sh!t about trying to compete in the video game console world, and that Sony would always rule it now that we are in the disc era... id say they did a pretty damn good job of getting into it...

Robbie Bach by chance? I used to work w/ Robbie - albeit from a step level distance. He's a really good dude and great leader.

yes, Robbie... his house was directly next door to the house my dad was doing (same company) who was the CFO of Microsoft...

yes hes a good guy, wife too, although shes kinda ditzy...

we were building a salt and pepper granite wall for the backside of the sport court against the driveway, and they wanted it extended down a ways, well the driveway went down a hill then a sharp 90 degree hook into the garage area, we had brought up how tight of a turn it was going to be if people needed to back out etc, her and the so called "architect" scoffed at me and Samphi (coworker) bringing it up, so we just said whatever and went a long... i talked to my dad about it and he agreed, the wall should be shortened and not that close to the hook in the driveway...

shortly after that she was backing out and ripped the front off her Lexus LX470, did serious damage...

she wanted it shortened after that...

rich people are weird...

It's always smart to tell the guy you're working for that his company is going to get their asses kicked by Sony.

Definitely a career-building move.

well after working on his house for 2 years you kinda build a relationship of sorts...

it was just 2 guys talking sh!t...

he knew what he was doing...

plus, he got the best craftmanship you could possibly get... when my dad was at Charter, he had one of the best teams in the entire company.. some people still work there (my brother, couple other guys) and some dont...

the level of craftsmanship and whatnot my dad provided was bar none the best in the state, probably why so many high profile people wanted him to do their houses, and would refuse others...

Wrong. Zune didn't suck and the store didn't suck. I still have my original that's going strong. It was a supply chain test device that was literally nuked for testing purposes BEFORE I even got it and it still will NOT fail after a decade. They are BOMB proof devices.

First to market wins. There is a reason we call it a Xerox instead of photocopy and Kleenex instead of facial tissue. Marketing and market share.

Zune was much too late to the party to be successful. The actual devices and service were TOP notch and head and shoulders above what Apple was doing at the time. It didn't matter, cuz' fanboys.

And Evo...rich people are not necessarily weird in true reality. They may seem like that to us, but to them it's just par for the course. Sometimes people have way more money than common sense. When rich house wives talk about or ask for things, they do it coming from a perspective of not realizing the true value of their idiotic ask or the true value of actual money. To them, money is a secondary consideration over aesthetic or even functionality. Change orders are of zero consequence. They simply don't care, because accountants pay for it all. They have no concept of actual money like we do, so they do not realize the impact of what they are asking for.

Poor people know the correct or easiest way of getting things done. Poor people can't afford to make mistakes and false starts. We gotta nail it on the first try, so we can be damned certain the plan is perfect before work begins.

If you want something done right on the first attempt and on time, have a poor and lazy person do it. They will find the simplest, most elegant cost effective solution possible....because poor and lazy.

You'd never be able to convince me spending time on PPS darkside is healthier than spending that time playing a game. To eachange their own. I'm just an 80s kid I guess.

Most people I know that scoff at games also scoff at TV and film. It's because we find real life more interesting. At least in theory some people on this forum might actually go outdoors and fish so talking about fishing when you're stuck indoors not fishing is as close as you can get. Still posting on forums is to having a life as jerking off to internet porn is to sex.

Lol. Take a look at this guy who posts on the DS a lot talking about “real life”.

Disagree. The DS is way better than any game. Why? No game is going to tell you to go fvck yourself and then light yourself on fire. We will and that's a LOT more fun.

When a game makes a Rich G or an Evo character, I'll play it. Until then, I'd rather toss elbows with the real deal.

So in the end,

Go fvck yourself and light yourself on fire.

I'M THE FINAL BOSS HERE BITCHES!
