Vote Republican, it's easier than thinking. There is an eerie truth to that. Rs vote against public education at every opportunity. Good public education leads to most citizens developing good critical thinking skills. Rs want only for elite rich 1%ers to have good critical thinking skills. Rs want to run government for the benefit of 1%ers, not the other 99%. That's easier to do if the 99% peasant class doesn't develop strong critical thinking skills.

BOOM...Knick to the rescue! Whatever he said, (like a Ziplock?).
Keith, I've been wondering who supplies "Magnatangle's" (Shane Magnuson/Upper Columbia Guide Serv) for the packaging for his scents/cures that he packages for his NW Bait/Tackle line. I've known Shane for almost 25 years, so if you'd like me to inquire just let me know. He's a great kid..and works very hard at his profession.

"Structured" pouches are just the fancy ziplocks that everything seems to come in nowadays. They are made up of multiple layers of different types of materials based on what your product needs are (oxygen barriers, light barriers, printable paper or foil on the outsides etc). They are very inexpensive across the board compared to hard sided plastic bottles & caps. Unit price, inbound shipping costs, less warehousing space, labor and outbound shipping costs. When ordered from China, the minimum order quantities can be very low if using stocked generic pouches. Printing, if needed, can be done via labeling to keep help costs down. Example

Nothing new there.
I seem to remember young capitalists in 60s and 70s using that type of packaging to sell locally produced agricultural goods at an ounce or so at a time.

I like how Ammerman’s cure comes in the mail. 5 lb plastic sack. I get a few at a time and leave them in the bag until needed. Then it goes into jars. Never been a fan of the plastic shakers. I agree here, in the first few trial runs I made the cure would have about a years shelf life and then it would clump/brick up a bit. I added silica and that solved the problem and never seemed to change it's successes. I've never tried the plastic bag idea like Nick mentioned, but it all still circles back to finding a company that will mix/bottle or mix/bag the cure. The place I had an agreement with backed out after the second run because the dye is like a super spreader, you don't see it but when your done your nostrils clothes, walls, counter tops, etc all turn pink and it's a bitch to get off... Keith A closed system hopper feed directly into the pouches would reduce the amount of pink dust. The equipment used does all of the filling and sealing automatically with little human involvement. The only problem is companies that offer these services are generally FDA, cGMP, food grade facilities and they aren't about to let that pink dust in the door. Alternatively Keith, you could just buy the equipment for thousands and put it in your garage. I'd even help you set it up and do qual runs. I think you should do that for us.

They don’t like pink boogers? Lol
I cured some URB eggs w/ some old UEC that Parker happened to have with him at B10. It was clumped up but still did it’s job. I’ve got 2 jars, in the freezer, waiting for a springer to show up.
Point being, 2 jars just isn’t enough. Do agree. I know I'm down to 1 bottle but haven't cured eggs but a few skeins in the last couple of years. Still fishing off the 2008/2009's I have in the freezer. They're like wine, they get better with time. Keith

I have yet to find a place with the above available. Doing it by hand it not an option, my garage still has evidence of pink from years ago, that's where it all started. I still need to repaint it. I mean the next run I do, I want to do 1000+ bottles/bags. I'm sure it would all sell pretty quickly, but it would be nice to have a little stock on hand for the future as well. Keith

Keith Tangles has since moved to Home Valley as his "home base" and I believe he creates/packages all his scents on the premises of the old Home Valley store if I remember correctly (or another building right next door)? Might check out his FB page, I seem to remember seeing something in the past? Hope this helps!

After letting Jaek snort a line or two of UEC, and giving some to the host of our B10 house his fill, I'm down to about a bottle, if that.

Fishprince had one of the more iconic sig lines. I think the law got involved though. Shouldn't have brought that up.
