What it showed was how much more contagious C19 is compared to the typical flue. Even when modest efforts are made to social distance and follow simple precautions, the flue rate drops dramatically.

Some states had severe challenges following even simple precautions, but was that a real surprise.

And in a normal year truly documented flue deaths are very low, about 5,000 nation wide, the rest of the total is an estimate.

We discussed this on here earlier this year, but remembering facts can be tough.

if social distancing and masks have eliminated the flu, then why is a less contagious disease like COVID running rampant?


and COVID is LESS contagious than Influenza, over a billion people a year get infected with Influenza, 116 million have been infected by COVID in OVER a year...

They do not test for the flue in the same way they test for C19. It's the same with flue deaths.

They take the reported number and then guess at what the total number probably is.

they use rapid antigen tests for Influenza, genius...

they are now using rapid test for COVID as well...

both get results in 15 minutes to a half hour..

so that right there, from your link, states that they have recognized for "many years", that it is UNDERREPORTED, which means far higher numbers...

it also states that it may lead to death from other causes, and that is why its underreported..

with COVID, if you have a heart attack after getting it, you died of COVID, if you crash a motorcycle, and had COVID, you died of COVID, if you got murdered and check positive for COVID, you died from COVID..

theres been plenty of articles that have stated they have done exactly that, which means that COVID is being OVERREPORTED...

they also test for Influenza pretty much the same way as COVID, but a couple other ways as well (sputum tests, throat washes, aspirates), but generally use nasal and throat swabs..

keep thinking the way you do, and this will continue for the rest of your life...
