One of my all time favorite jumping spots in that first pic. Caught my first steelhead there about 25 ish years ago.. Been fishing there since i was about 4... Gotta love the Dose...

The HC bridge and the chum fishery wrecked the Dosey, Duck and Hama Hama.
So I guess things changed.

meh, id say the nets and the fvckin seals did more damage than the bridge or chum fishery in Hoodsport...
Jake, they are closed right now, so no fish pics, maybe in a few weeks when we go back when its open...
was going to go up the Hamma but already had driven 4 hours or so up Devils Lake, to Point Whitney, up the Dose, then up the Duck for about 30-45 minutes till we couldnt drive anymore because of a tree across the road.. will bring a saw next time..
there was a bunch of smolt around Hoodsport in the salt, but there were 10 seals there every single day... so no dice..

I had a lot of fun fishing the Dose and Hamma in the early 90's, was some dandy fishing and some impressive water....
Miss those days!
