I know this river very well as for bank fishing. I see a few driftboats go by, but I'm not sure where they put in. I think most of them take out at the mouth of Stuck river. I'd like to take a crack at drifting this river if anyone could give me a hint as to where to put the boat in.
Many Thanks!

The only place I know of now is at the little Puyallup bridge just passed Alderton. There used to be a launch above McMillan Bridge but the new home owners there stopped the two bit launch years ago. The last time I floated the Puyallup we put in there on the little Puyallup, just above where the Carbon dumps in. Dan

Monty,
The last time I launched (about a 1 yr.) @ the Puyallup, there were 2 launches that I new about.
1. On the upriver side of the little Puyallup on the North side of the bridge. This launch is fairly primitive.

2. Go across the Alderton bridge and head upriver to the BMX park, if this launch is still there it is a good one.

Tight Lines,

Scott

BMX is the best launch but you can put in on the south side of the orting bridge on the little puyallup. But you got to get your boat ovre the rip rap they put down.

YOU CAN PUT YOUR BOAT IN AT THE BMX PARK, AND TAKE OUT ACROSS FROM ANTON'S RESTAURANT IN SUMNER.
