Somebody explain this rating system to me, I guess I don't get it. I rated a couple of you fellas and I see it put little stars or something under you name. If you don't have any stars does that mean nobody likes you  ? Fill me in please! I don't think I can take being rejected by the masses  .

I don't think it's a good feature of the new BB program. Let Bob know what you think. If you access your profile, I think you can opt out of this feature on an individual basis. - RT

I was actually trying to figure this rating system out too. I say lose it, but I think some sort of warning system would be good so that we can identify people who aren't interested in valid discussion but like to stir up hissy fits.

I think you're right about the flamers. If we use the rating system as a tool to identify the flamers rather that pat ourselves on the back about how great we all are, then it's worth keeping. In the long haul, if a guy gets rated low by 50 people, well I guess it's probably not worth the time to read his posts.
As far as who's a five star? Ahhh, who cares really. We all know who the real postitive contributors are anyway and the rating system isn't going to change that. :p

So, let me try to figure this out. You guys don't like it?  As for the flamers, we will figure out who they are easily enough without labeling. And they will be admonished anyway.
