Does anyone have any idea if there are many pinks or silvers in the 8-2 area?
Since it opens tommorrow, I am wonder if it is worth a trip in the morning.

If you have a whole day or so to fish, Sekiu is HOT! It would be a bit of a drive, but I have driven up there the night before and fished the morning. Lots of driving, but LOTS of fish. Andy

I talked a fellow today who lives over on the Island and routinely fishes the beaches of Whidbey.

He has been fishing for 'cutthroat' and has had 40 coho days fishing Krocodiles and Kastmasters. He said that many of these fish are pushing 10 pounds which is an unheard of size for this time of year.

Plus I got a report today that a pink was caught all the way up at Rockport yesterday. And the paper reported that plunkers in the Lower Snohomish and Skagit have been hitting pinks for the past week.

Got pinks all the way to welcome on the sac.

Can't wait for the silvers, ah, the fin clipped, hatchery cohoe, yeah right. Just another reason for tribal netting and I prabably won't see one fin clipped silver but the board will be the second to know laugh
Bring em on.

Ryan,

Which beaches of Whidbey has that guy been fishing for coho? I might get over to Whidbey the beginning of next week and would like a tip as to where to go. Thanks.
