Was thinking on hitting that area on Sunday. What's the report? I had heard that it had died out on Thursday. Where there fish to be found? Did the fish come back? I don't want to go out there if there's no fish.

Thanks for any info.

Better take a number ...

There were a zillion boats on the water Saturday morning. It was pretty crowded north and south of the shipwreck. The Everett launch was a madhouse at 5:30 in the morning.

The early morning fishing was pretty good. I boated 2 humpies, 3 and 5 pounds, and missed 3 or 4 others. Lots of people around me caught fish as well, looked like mostly humpies. The bite seemed to die off by about 8:00. The tide was strong outgoing, maybe that had sonething to do with it.

Regards.

Fished with goforchrome on Sunday. He was kind enough to trade me a spot in his boat for the "inside skinny" on these humpies/silvers. First lesson was on how to avoid the zoo and we're on the water by 5:15. Hit my first fish as soon as the downrigger stopped! We got half our limit (4 fish) in Area 8-2 by 7:30. Busted my SnapiGlass "Certified Pro" rod while freeing the fish off of the downrigger. Could have sworn that I heard Superfly yelling from someplace "Should have bought an Allstar Rod!) Had to run back in to get the spare pole that was in the truck. Back on the water and fishing by 9:30. Limited out with our 8 fish by 10:00.

Sure, there were a few boats, but not even close to "combat" fishing. Was a very nice morning on the salt.

Thanks for the trip, Dan! Was nice to meet and fish with another quality person from the board!

All humpies? What were they hitting? My two both went for a 3.5" Coyote "Army Truck" spoon. I got no action off of a little red hootchie and a little red spoon.

Go figure ...

Fished with my daughter today. Limited out by 10:30 am. Fishing still good at the Hollow. Dodger and Pink Squid did the trick.
