I own a 215 Fishing Machine built by Campion and take it to Westport alot. Everytime I take someone new out, the first thing they state, is how nice the boat rides and handles the water. I would like to think it is the driver.....but? Anyhow, the boat is built fairly well, but I would not say it is in the class of my old Glasply or Bellboy. It does have a few stress cracks in the liner that were not there when I bought the boat, but if you hit a few of those waves, uh I mean Rollers, the way I have on occasion, your back would be broken, not just stressed. My boat is a walk-around and I feel for a fishing boat that this is the only way to go, and I have had many kinds of boats along the way.
My next boat will be a 24 foot Grady White or maybe a Pursuit......but then I would have to get rid of the Alumaweld.....okay thats enough dreamin, have to do with the Campion for now.
Good luck with the boat venture, Boaters World will be your next best friend, (Don't tell the wife!)
