i would like to bring 2 rods with me, but i don't want to leave my extra rod on the shore. does anyone use some type of rod holder that attaches to your belt?

I haven't seen a belt rod holder on the market yet, but I do pack 2 rods with me when I'm bankin' it. I use a G-Loomis backpack and the rods fit on the sides nicely. I don't even use my vest anymore, just grab the backpack and throw in some leader rollers, some Vision swivels and pencil lead. Oh, yeah my eggs too laugh Can't leave home without them. wink

I don't think it's too difficult to carry 2 rods. What is too much for me is what the "Wilson River Wizzard" Mark Anderson does - he carries 4 rods along the banks with him. He is the epitome of water time and coverage efficiency.

I've seen some guys put their second rod, broken down in 2, thru the back side of the wader suspenders.

Putting it in your wader suspenders works just dont walk threw any brush eek or fall eek . Justins Loomis pack is SWEEEEET!!! for packin extra rods.. I will have one soon as I can find it..TM
