How about a Bob update after his surgery. Were you able to sneak him in a bag of food?

Surgery went well.Bob came through just fine.Only time will tell the exact success rate of the surgery.He was doing laps around the driveway last night and should be back to posting on here soon

The Doctor was great.When I asked about physical therapy he said people pay a lot of money for rowing machines,but Bob gets paid for rowing people.

Maybe now is the time to get even for the "cracker" jokes. Get him while he's weak. Perhaps a nice bouquet of flowers soaked in festered sand shrimp puss would be appropriate. LMFAO

Glad to hear that Bob is doing fine. The wife and I will be paying Bob a visit on the 8th of February for some paid rehab.

ReiterRat - thanks for the advice on rebuilding the Curado. That did the trick!

I take it you and Bob fixed your computer? Was it XP or the power supply?

...and before you know it, Bob will be up and dancing to Debbie Gibson again.

Hi everyone ... I'm alive and (sorta) well. Surgery seems to have gone well ... I can now feel my right thigh for the first time in a while so it looks like the nerve impingement was taken care of. Pain still is bad when I move around a lot ... but that's what the goodies from the pharmacy are for For the last 24 hours. I have been up and walking for a couple of minutes every few hours and each time it gets a little easier so things are headed in the right direction.

Should be home tomorrow and I'll try to keep you all posted on my progress and even be a little more active with the board once my buns feel normal.

Thanks for all the notes from everybody, I appreciate them!! Hope you all catch a big one when things drop in here before too much longer! I'm jealous!!!

Glad to hear that the surgery went well. I hope you have a speedy recovery.

In the meanwhile it will give us a chance to catch some fish with you on the sidelines.
