Dave, I'll bring you over a 25 pack in 1/0 & 2/0 or bigger if you want. Think they will stick springers even better than those sharp trebles on your kwikies...C/22

Have not seen the Matzuo siwash hooks advertised. Have seen the jig and regular.
Where did you find the Matzuo siwash hooks????
I have gone to a siwash hook on all my spinners, plugs, and spoons, so alway looking for a new product that will "get the job done".
Thanks........

I think that they would be a good hook to replace the trebles on my plugs with. They worked well on the mag warts, should work good on the K14s an K15s too.

i just tried the smaller size octopus/sickle this year for trout. last year my daughter and i had a bunch of fish come unbuttoned, so i figured a change was in order(haven't lost one) i've been impressed so far. i am interested in the gauge of the wire used in the siwash hooks, though. are they comparable to say a gami (sort of thin, but rigid?) or a vmc (thick, long point, very rigid)the design makes sense to me-alittle pocket at the bend to cradle the jaw bone, nice thinking! are they offset, like the octopus?

Weed, its a 2/5 oz. same weight I sent you. Just a gold one, with a flash sticker on it... C/22 LCW, they are way more stout than a Gami, very heavy duty. It takes all I got to close the open-eye with my split-ring plyers(sp?) No offset, but a wicked upturn at the tip of the hook, they will get your fish in barbed or crimped down.....C/22
