Anybody want to save me a drive out to the Nooch? I was out there about a week ago and the river height was great, but it was too dirty due to the dam. I'd like to hit it tomorrow, but would like to know what it looks like before I go. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

!!DOM! Don't you know that's NOT a question to be asked on this board mad The Nooch is a secret fishing ground to a select fishing group called the ShipyardIdiots. They and they alone have treaty right dating back to the dinosaurs! Yes, you can fish it, you can just NEVER talk about it.......or you rod will go limp eek

the river is up from 1760 cu/s to 2460 overnight.the river is running high obviously.black creek at 4:00 pm was pumping pure mud as well as carter creek upstream.we had 1/2 inch of rain today in elma and its raining fairly hard right now.the nooch tomorrow will be marginal at best in my opinion.good luck if you go.scott

Muff called me from the nooch this morning to say he counted 100 trailers from elks bar to white bridge. There was 30 at white bridge alone. I wonder if shipyardidiot was one of them. What a zoo!

Hey thanks for the info guys! I ended up not fishing the river due to your guys report. I'm glad you realized I wasn't asking for a report, just the water quality (although thanks for the 20lbs hatchery info). Thanks for the info and tight lines and sharp hooks.
