H2O, you said they were too small for your split rings, right! You can only bend a siwash once! If you had to open them further to get them around the split ring there lies your problem. Maybe smaller split rings? You can't rebend a siwash like that, regardless of the brand. They are designed to bend shut not bend open and shut. If you are faced with this problem again shut the siwash and work it onto the split ring. Please e-mail one of use at vision and we will be more and happy to send you a new pack! Siwash hooks are like handlebars for moto-cross, if ya bend em' ya better finish the race that way. As soon as you bend them after that they snap!

Thanks for your thoughtful attempt at correcting what, would have I been trying this, could have done for the annals of fishing idiocy what Hitler's invasion of Russia did for the annals of bad career moves.
