I started fishing the pink worm just this last winter.

I was thinking of getting some marinade going for those little guys. Something to the affect of putting about a dozen of them in a zip lock bag, dumping in some anise and shrimp oil. I think the rubber will soak up a little of the juices, if not at least they will be smelly as heck when you start casting them.

Any one tried this, if so what scents are you using?

Only after arriving home from a multi-day fishing excursion. And let me tell ya, it definitely affects the fishing at home until ya take a shower. laugh

BTW- Be careful when cleaning it after coming home, it'll likely go off if you scrub too hard laugh

I can't see why you would need to add scent to a snake...fish smack them out of agression.

I have never caught a fish on a pink worm. I have caught many on corky, yarn and shrimp oil. Was kind of thinking along those lines... a little added scent for Mr. Steelies pleasure.

I know bass guys do it but that is a differant ball game all together. Those fish are feeding and not striking out of aggression like you said.
