I only have crabbed in the south end and usually limit on dungeness crab and rock . the rock crab seem to be a little harder to limit on from my experience. I usually crab the east side by tahula. I know they have quiet a season for chums by hoodsport that will be later in the year.

Hi Troller
Welcome to the board. If you need any info on the Columbia or anything down our way just give a shout. I don't usually spend as much time on the board as I have over the last couple of day but the weather is so hot down here that I'm seeking refuge in the computer room. laugh

Welcome to the board troller. As for the fishin' your about 3 or 4 weeks early, that's when the first kings will show up at the hoodsport hatchery and the run to the Skokomish. As for the crappin' you should do fine, I like you crab the flats in front of the Tahuyua River.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff laugh laugh

hey im from lilliwaup on the hoodcanel, and the crabing is great around lilliwaup bay and eagle creek in about 30 to 40 feet of water, and fishing for salmon your a little early but you might hook a resident blackmouth fishing about 120 feet of water with a down rigger or try shallow for cutthroat near most of the little inlets good luck
