Hey folks, new guy just trying to figure out how to post to this site. Not much experience, but lots of enthusiasm! Been checking out this site for a couple of years, and fishing(salmon & steelhead) about the same amount of time. Fishing mentor says in the beginning I was a menace with a rod in my hand, but I am getting better. Looking forward to learning lots from you more accomplished fish slayers.

Thanks, Troller! Yes it really is everdry, although I have been doing a reasonable facsimile of a rain dance every chance I get, usually the night before a fishing foray.

Welcome aboard!
Do you have a particular body of water that you like to fish?

Thanks to you, Busy. Only report I can provide is two weeks ago, mentor and I fished forks of Sky, each of us hooking three, and me the rookie, landed one.Not too dark for the smoker. Used eggs that were my first curing effort(must have done something right!) Last Saturday on the Snohomish, got a few hits, but no joy.

Easy, nice to meet ya! I am rather fond of the Sky, but also enjoy the Hump, Clearwater and Salmon on the coast. Which reminds me, anyone going to the Hump need a place to rent for the weekend? I have a cabin in Copalis, 12 miles from the Hump hatchery, sleeps up to 6 with indoor plumbing, full kitchen, and everything else but food and bedding. Will consider trade for a seat on a drift boat or company on the bank.

First and foremost, thanks to all who have welcomed me to this site. Nextly, as I am new, I may need to be schooled, was it proper to for me shamelesly promote my cabin for rent in copalis? I really am not trying to use this site for free advertising, or personal profit. I just thought that due to it's location, it would be a viable resoure for many of my fellow anglers, who like myself, enjoy many of the rivers on the middle coast of Washington. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Tight lines!
