They never seem to have caught on. Anyone use them?

You bet I do. I still have quite a few of them, and ya know its funny, because I use to fish them fairly regularly and they worked great! Just got away from them. I have them in a variety of colors. Guess I need to drag them out of the fishy mothballs.

Yeah, I remember those. In fact I am sure there are a few in all of my gear. To go along with a "Do we Remember" last weekend up on the Harrison River, the Chums were pouring in from the Fraser. I wanted to try something different, to get a Coho to bite. I tied on an "Orange Oakie Drifter". A young guy in the boat looks at it, and say's what the heck is that thing. I told him this one was about 30 years old. First cast, a big Chum just hammered it. The old stuff just seems to keep on working for the guy's who still have some of it.

Thanks Os...yeah here and ifish are becoming a refuge for me <img border="0" alt="[wall]" title="" src="graemlins/wall.gif" />
I think these "lil guys" as they were called could be effective behind a diver or as someone else suggested ran down a narrow chute into the fish. I only managed to get 5 of them but would like to have more.
You ended up with most of my nail polish okies.

Interesting looking lure, can someone please tell me what they are called? They remind of some bass lures I bought years ago called "wigglesticks". Thx.
