Think about droping a hint to the wife for Xmas, sometimes she listens . So what do you think of them? Will be using it on a float rod. Thanks...

I don't have a Meteloid, but the Okuma's I do have,I like very much. I like them as much as the Shimano's on my other rods.

A little too heavy and too shiny for my taste, but an excellent reel for the price. The weight might be a plus on a 10.5 foot rod though.

I've got one on one of my float roads and I really like it. A tad heavy but seems perfect for me.

Just a quick question, what is the difference between the Meteloid and the Epixor. From the website I can't find a difference besides the color. Can someone help me. I was thinking about one for a summer jig rod and I will go with the high speed reel in either one.

Sparkey, for the money you can't beat an Okuma. I have two Avengers and love them.
