Schuter,
The last time I broke a Loomis (big, bad, chum), I spoke to Customer Service @ Loomis in Woodland. They directed me to Auburn Sports & Marine and I got exceptional service from them. My rod was a current one in the line so that may make a difference. I did not have a receipt and quite honestly told the guy at Auburn Sports & Marine that I did not know whether I had bought that particular rod from them, I had bought at least one other one from AS & M. Simple deal, brought in the broken one, left 5 minutes later with a brand new rod. I believe that I had broken a Premier many years ago and I took it to Loomis down in Woodland and they upgraded me to a current product for what seemed like a reasonable price. Your mileage may vary. Good luck.

Go to the Gloomis web site. They have a deal that is called Xpedior Service. You fill out some forms on the internet and they will send you a new pole in two days. Total cost is $50.00 no questions asked. I did it before it was up and running and did it per land line. Got a brand new rod, better that the one I had. Mine was a nine to ten years GL3. My pole busted above the ferral. All shipping and handling is included in the $50.00

The comparable rod is the GL2. Take it to Auburn Sports and they will give you a new one on the spot if they have it, which they should.

I just went through this myself last Friday. Here is what happen and what I went through to get a replacement.
Last Friday I was on the Kalama and within an hour I broke my GL3 1024 C on a snag. I jumped in my truck and headed South on I 5 to Woodland. This is what happen when I arrived at Loomis wearing waders and holding a broken rod.
I was told that they no longer accept warranty service at the counter. I was given 2 choices. One, I could pay them $50 then and there and they would give me a new rod with, "No questions asked". Proving of course they had the exact same model in stock. Two, I could leave the rod with them along with $20 so they could "analysis" the breakage. After this "analysis" they would then ship me a new rod in 7 to 10 days. I figure the $20 was half cost because I brought the rod to them and as a result it only had to be shipped one way.
Well, I gave them $20 and climbed back in my truck to go home to Auburn. It was a very long drive. I mean a very long drive. And as I passed over the kalama then the Cowlitz I couldn't take it. I turned my truck around and went back to Loomis. I gave them $50 and they gave me a new rod right off the floor. I then drove back to the Kalama and returned fishing.
Oh, how I do on the river? I had one on and lost it. Go figure.

The Loomis Premier had only a 2 year warrenty, So I would try your luck with Auburn sports. Good Luck and the comparable rod for your Loomis is the GL2 in the same model. Good Luck, Matt

Boy I sure wished I knew about the deal with Auburn Sports and Marine. I could of save myself about $10.00. I live in Marysville and the drive down there and back would have made me a nervous wreck. No I'll just stick with the Xpedior Service. Less hassle. Besides I got a better rod out of the deal. Just my.02 cents worth.
