DON'T BUY A NISSAN!.

There's your reminder ;\) but don't blame it on their quality. "cheap pot-metal garbage" NOT!

After you've worked on ten thousand or so trucks involved in every imaginable accident you would come to the same conclusion as me.

#1 Toyota: has withstood the test of time. period

#2 Nissan: almost as good as a toyota (cheaper)

#3 Dodge: Good...but there will be *little issues*

#4 Chev/GMC: getting better all the time

#5 Ford: stuck on appearance, will nickle and dime ya sooner than the others.

Keep in mind that all trucks are great when they are new, some just stay new alot longer than others. Fords hayday was the 70's for sure, dodge has the domestic market right now hands down, they are good trucks if you move lots of HEAVY stuff, GM has moved way up in the last couple of years I would consider one if I needed *big*....

Don't try and kid yourself, the impact on that Nissan would have done as much or more damage (dollars & physical) to any other truck out there, without doubt.

So there \:D

My 98 Ranger ext cab 4.0 4X4 just crossed 110,000 and has never had a single problem even though I beat the crap out of it and tow a boat all summer and fall.

Stam-I was referring to the thickness and girth of the springs, axle, and shocks.

The only reason I ended up choosing Ford over Dodge was more brand familiarity with Ford/International vs Dodge/Cummins.
It was close though. Consumer Reports also swayed me. I already had an experience with both GM & the Co that makes Chevy's Diesel, and wouldn't touch them again. Allison Transmissions just aren't enough to make them worth it.

Toyota's just fine, I come from a 'Yota family, and the reasons I didn't get a Tundra was my dad and brother both got one right before I went truck shopping, and they dont have solid front axles.

there wasn't on tuesday and there did not seem to be any rd. problems between the onp entrance and the lil s bridge.....not sure why it was closed from what I saw. I would bet that the ramp down to the bar has about 10 feet of mud stacked in it though and I'm guessin' they won't be racin' down with a backhoe to clear a path either....I hope to look at it saturday.

12/8 Stam. 12/8.

Another good push of rain and I'd highly recommend bringing two fillet knives and an extra big cooler.

I suppose they would be fine as long as you never have a claim, ;\) as of now they are the biggest bunch of penny pinching chisel asses out there \:\( They don't really care if your car gets fixed right or not when the accident does happen. Field reps are so overloaded that they can't do a decent job, upper management that has thrown out the old style "customer first" service...blahblahblah. You will not be happy with Farmers.

State Farm is #1 hands down. Mutual of Enumclaw is good along with Geico, Pemco, Safeco...Allstate has even made a good comeback, I haven't done anything for progressive for years so I don't know how they are....they did suck.

Next... ;\)

Hey, that's actually valuable info. Almost like the kind you have to pay for.

Probably does not belong on this board.
