Downriggin, we had some shakers as well. I kept one that was a couple of inches over legal for my Grandmother.....they are the perfect size. It was pretty slow huh? Oh well, I'll be giving it a try next weekend also. What's the last day you'll be able to fish? We will have to hook up when you get back. I keep my Tiderunner in a locker a Narrows Marina, so it's pretty easy to get on the water. Good luck on your venture and remember.......two to the chest and one to the head. Jack

Dang, DR, thought for sure I'd left you a couple nice ones. I didn't go today, I fished all day Saturday, from 0 dark thirty to the end of the Steelers/Eagles game, at Neill Point, Quartermaster, from the tip of PD to downtown Tacoma, and the Girl Scout drift for good measure, and had one hell of a lot of action on the shakers - caught about 30, including 2 or 3 that might have been 22" but weren't worth hasseling to measure, and 2 of the old "rip it out of the release and give a couple good head shakes before coming unpinned" variety that I thought for sure you would catch today :p I too saw a lot of bait, especially at Quartermaster, but there didn't seem to be any fish chasing the bait early in the day - never even had a bump in all that bait in Quartermaster - what's up with that, no fish out there big enough to eat hog herring? Oh Well, tides are going to be better next weekend, you guys still going to be around or did the Vinson finally get better? computer
