minibear Returning Adult Registered: 11/25/02 Posts: 249 Loc: T-town	Does anyone know where they plant the puyallup steelhead and the Carbon steelhead? I heard the puyallup fish go up is it Clarks creek? Way down in the lower river? And the carbon fish in Voights creek?

They used to put some in at 115th St. and other spots-not sure about these days. There is a hatchery on upper Clark's Creek (Puyallup Hatchery) but as far as I know that site is used primarily for resident rainbow propogation. I believe the tribe releases some into Clark's, not sure where they raise them, but last I heard it was a pretty small release like 10,000 smolts. If there were fish coming back in any numbers it wouldn't matter which part of the river you fish. _________________________ "It's NOT that much farther than the Cowlitz!"
