This may be a silly question.

Are you going to the Sportman' s Show this weekend or are you going to fish?

I'm going tomorrow. Then I'm going to hit the Boat Show on Thursday, if I have any money left!

Carl,

I'll be going on Friday provided I don't have a funeral to go to instead.

Otherwise it's Puyallup on Friday... and headed down to Oregon when the services are scheduled.

I'll be getting a new spinning rod combo and maybe two other new rods. Also looking for a guided trip to Banks.

I will spend some time with my "fly fishing side" and watch Phil Rowley's seminar and see what he's up to on chironimids these days. But no new fly rods this year.

I be there tomorow or Thuesday, havn't completely decided yet. But for sure be fishing this weekend. It'll be the river or the sound.

I'm going to the show to look for the Columbia River anchor system and buy a set of river socks. Does anyone know if they sell these anchors at the show? Hope'n to get a better deal than at GI JOE's.

Fish On,

ErnDog

I'll be avoiding the sportsman's show for the 2nd year in a row. I never find anything I want due to the over emphasis on areas of fishing/hunting that I do not participate in...and this year there is going to be the fly fishing show in Seattle.. so, really no reason to make that pilgrimage down the Puyallup.

Kaari,

They usually do have some nice looking over and unders to handle. Bullseye used to have a big booth. I don't have a feel for whether they'll be participating this year.

The best Bullseye ever brought to the show were Rugar Red labels.. which are just not the quality I'm looking for- too sloppy, heavy, and rugar.. wink

I'll be at the show on Friday with Rick68 and then weather permitting, I hope to be chasing some Blackmouth on Saturday at Manchester. Been having pretty decent luck there down by Yukon Harbor, hope it continues!

I think there is another show at the Exhibition Hall, downtown Seattle, in February.

The Pew-all-up show is the one to go to. More boats and toys. laugh

Easy,
I think the show at the Seasttle Expo is in March this year, 13th-16th if I'm not mistaken.

I'll be there Wedneday PM and Sunday all day. I'm helping Anton Jones at Darrell and Dad's Guide Service booth. Stop by and say "hi". Carl, maybe we can meet and I can give you your stuff?

I had plans to fish on Sunday but it looks like the weather is going to be bad. I will probably go to the Show instead. umbrella

Superfly... If I stop by your booth, perhaps buy a pack of hooks, fondle the Allstars and BS for a bit . Think that you could give me a cool Vision hat? FishingSensation was wearing one the other day when we fished together and it was too cool for him....and he wouldn't give it up...

Seriously though I've been fishing an Allstar 1143c that my buddy bought and it's a hell of a rod, gonna have to pick one up for myself, so I can leave my Loomis at home. Any great deals going on at the Show?
